Washington Jazz Arts Institute Summer Jazz Concert

The Washington Jazz Arts Institute, established in 1998 by Davey Yarborough and his wife, Esther Williams, is an organization whose mission is to educate and mentor aspiring young musicians, while keeping the music alive. Over the past nineteen years, through the leadership of our Artistic Director, Davey Yarborough, we have quietly mentored many young musicians, and provided instruments for some who otherwise might not have had one. Our outreach efforts have paired young musicians with mentors who are seasoned professionals, and, have given invaluable information and guidance to those interested in pursuing a career in music and its many related professions.
